In March, we hit 13 million words translated by PPB volunteers. In this first quarter of 2026, we are translating just over half a million words each month, and that doesn't look to be slowing down. We currently serve 150 organizations/causes around the world. Congratulations and thank you to every volunteer who has given of their time and expertise so far (and thank you in advance for those still waiting for their first project)!

Some time last year, we started offering ProZ Pro Bono volunteers who have worked on an Evergreen piece the option to send their translations through review with other volunteers, so that they can be featured openly on the PPB website. The thinking with this was to provide something beyond just practice, allow opportunities for the translator-reviewer interaction, and better showcase what our volunteers can do.
