Thank you, volunteers! 13 million words...
In March, we hit 13 million words translated by PPB volunteers. In this first quarter of 2026, we are translating just over half a million words each month, and that doesn't look to be slowing down. We currently serve 150 organizations/causes around the world. Congratulations and thank you to every volunteer who has given of their time and expertise so far (and thank you in advance for those still waiting for their first project)!

The Evergreen gallery is now open for viewing
Some time last year, we started offering ProZ Pro Bono volunteers who have worked on an Evergreen piece the option to send their translations through review with other volunteers, so that they can be featured openly on the PPB website. Well, the Evergreen gallery is now open for visits! The first r

Wiki Project Med needs your help to bring vital healthcare information to everyone
Though I did not have the opportunity to participate directly, I remember back in 2011, when ProZ.com was supporting Translators without Borders more actively, and my coworker and mentor, Enrique Cavalitto , started mentioning this whole Wiki Project Med thing. Enrique was the lead on the ProZ.com side of collaborating with TwB, and aside from helping provide the platform for

Cicero occupies a special place in the history of translation theory. He was a pre-Transl

In Love with Pro Bono
Seasons change. Children grow up. Friends grow apart. Businesses grow out of each other.
Nevertheless, Pro Bono is just going through a hiatus, and it is undoubtedly coming up in a new, refreshing appearance.
